The NMH farm is a small, diversified New England farm. Maple sugaring is our largest single agricultural endeavor. Our 2,200 taps produce about 24,000 gallons of sap, which boils down to approximately 600 gallons of syrup. We also make ice cream, milk and cheese from our dairy cows;  produce apple cider, syrup, and jelly; and raise pigs and chickens.

Miller School of Albemarle, a coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school for students in grades 8-12 and post-graduate, opened its doors in 1878 with 33 students. Girls first enrolled in 1884, making it one of the nation`s oldest coeducational boarding schools.  The school is situated 12 miles west of Charlottesville on a gently rolling campus of 1600 pristine acres.
Dedicated in 2012, the Grass Family Turf Field is a FIFA II/quality synthetic field with 100% organic infill. It is the home field for St. Timothy's field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer teams.

Campus life at Hyde is all about being an active and engaged member of the community. An emphasis on character–courage, integrity, leadership, curiosity, and concern—provides the cornerstone for learning—in the classrooms, dormitories, the arts, and on the athletic fields.
Williston fields 67 interscholastic teams at the varsity, junior varsity, and beginner levels in 35 sports to give students a full range of opportunities to play. Athletics is an integral part of our education and community. Williston has always taken pride in its ability to be both highly competitive and inclusive, and the Wildcats have an impressive record of success.

Athletics have a long, proud heritage at Cheshire Academy, with three seasons of offerings at all skill levels. 

All students participate in our Afternoon Program, choosing from a wide range of athletics, clubs and activities. Sportsmanship and team participation are stressed as integral parts of the Cheshire Academy community.
Girls Soccer Wins! Hoosac offers many sports and activities for our students to experience.  Our new state of the art fitness center allows students to stay 'Hoosac Fit' throughout the year.
Students new to riding horses along with very experienced riders enjoy the equestrian program with jumping, dressage, polo clinics, and pleasure riding.
A unique learning environment
Each year, approximately 85% of our student body is involved in athletics.  Just like in college, our students will play and / or practice year-round in most sports.
