  • Hawai‘i Preparatory Academy seeks boys and girls of good character who demonstrate sound scholastic ability, who show promise of future accomplishment, and who will bring to the school a wide range of interests, abilities, and talents. The school does not discriminate in violation of the law on the basis of race, gender, religion, color, creed, sexual orientation, age, physical challenge, national origin, or any other characteristic in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, financial aid programs, athletics, or other school- administered programs and activities. The application deadline is February 2, 2007. Late applications are accepted and depend upon vacancies available after the regular decision deadline. Candidates are required to submit an application, a personal narrative, an official school transcript, and three teacher recommendations. Applicants also are required to take the SSAT, ISEE, or other standardized test, and have an on-campus visit and interview. If distance makes a visit impossible, arrangements can be made for an interview with a representative in your area.
