Andover's art department courses involve students in the creative process and help them explore the relationship between seeing and thinking. Students enjoy the unique resources of the school's Addison Gallery of American Art, an acclaimed museum with 12,000 works, including significant pieces by Copley, Revere, Eakins, Homer, Whistler, Watkins, Muybridge, Prendergast, Hopper, O'Keeffe, Calder, Evans and LeWitt.

Students do not attend physical education classes at Blair; instead, they participate on sports teams. We believe that this is the best way to develop physical health while teaching valuable life lessons such as teamwork and comraderie. There are 28 competetive sports from which to choose, including ice hockey, alpine skiing, crew, golf, and lacrosse.
