The final game of the regular season for all of Taft’s fall sports teams is played against rival Hotchkiss. The night before Hotchkiss Day, the entire student body finishes study hall early and packs into Bingham Auditorium for a spirited rally that culminates in a large bonfire out on the pond.

Hargrave's Post-Graduate academic program continues Hargrave's greatest tradition, helping students realize their full potential and college dreams. Often, students graduate their public school ill-prepared for college life. Weak college scores or high school grades might stand in the way of attending college. Hargrave offers one year of Post-Graduate study for those students. If the student is a student-athlete, Hargrave's Post-Graduate football and basketball programs are widely recognized two of the finest programs of their type in the nation. Hargrave keeps their skills sharp, while the student works toward their academic goals.
