Hargrave's Post-Graduate academic program continues Hargrave's greatest tradition, helping students realize their full potential and college dreams. Often, students graduate their public school ill-prepared for college life. Weak college scores or high school grades might stand in the way of attending college. Hargrave offers one year of Post-Graduate study for those students. If the student is a student-athlete, Hargrave's Post-Graduate football and basketball programs are widely recognized two of the finest programs of their type in the nation. Hargrave keeps their skills sharp, while the student works toward their academic goals.

It’s no secret that consistent physical exercise benefits the body and the mind. The experience of being part of a team and the camaraderie it inspires are immeasurable. With that in mind, we make athletic activities, including competitive varsity sports and non-competitive training for personal physical conditioning, part of our daily routine. Drama also fulfills the sports requirement.
