1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
Milton is great in its promotion of diversity and group unity amongst its students. Here differences are not rejected but rather welcomed and embraced and cultivated. Individuals mature into accepting all regardless of ethnicity, socioeconomic background or creed.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I think that I grew so much at Milton. There is not one particular experience that can break down the experience for me. I am eternally grateful towards Milton for making me who I am today. I am person who came in only liking hip hop music to now enjoying Ani DiFranco. I am now a person who loves hanging out with the most diverse people. I am now a person who is not afraid to try new activities.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Absolutely nothing. Just experience the school and don't hold back.
4.) What would you never want to change about your school?
Its diverse population.
5.) What things could be improved about your school?
I honestly can not think of anything right now.
6.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Hallowell is the best dorm. (Of course I'm partial.)
1.) What did you like best about your school’s academics?
I LOVE that Milton taught its classes in a roundtable format, which facilitated discussion and in-depth learning that one can not get from lecture classes.
2.) What did you like least about the academics in your school?
Nothing.

I did not participate in athletics.

I did not participate in athletics.
1.) What did you like best about your school’s art program?
I did not participate in the arts. But I am shocked by the derth of art programs avaiable to the students from dance troupes to several plays per year.

1.) What did you like most about the extracurricular activities offered at your school?
I loved the diverse amount of activities at Milton. Activities range from the science club to the Celtic Club to the Jewish Student Union to the Cooking Club to Japanimation. And if Milton did not offer an acitivity that a student was interested in, which was a rare scenario, it was easy to start a student organization.
2.) What did you like least about the extracurricular activities offered at your school?
Nothing.
1.) What was the best thing about dorm life in your school?
Living in a dorm with 44 girls is perhaps the best experience of my life. Never ever again will I ever have the support of 44 great woman. Never ever again will I have 44 great friends to laugh with. Never ever again will I have 44 closets to dress out of. Never ever again will I grow and learn so quickly and diversify my world and my life.
2.) What did you like least about dorm life?
The homesickness. It is hard living away from home at the age of 14. And frankly, sometimes the rules are rather harsh. When the day students can do things that you can never do it is rather frustrating.
1.) What was the best thing about your dining arrangements?
Having to eat with your dorm during dinner.
2.) What did you like least about your dining arrangements?
The food. But actually now that I am in college, I think that Milton food is better.
1.) How welcome did you feel by the other students when you first arrived at the school
Great. Milton is a very warm and welcoming school. The school is big on orientation at the beginning of every year, not just freshman year.
2.) Describe the level of diversity and integration of students in your school:
Extremely high. Milton is all about diversity as it demonstrates in its alternating biannual cultural and seminar days where students view or discuss other cultures.
3.) Describe typical fun activities you did on a weekend:
Movies in Braintree, a nearby town. Movies in Boston. Movies in the dorm. Movies on campus theather. Shopping in Boston. Dances on campus. Chilling in Boston or on campus
4.) What was the town like?
Milton is not a bustling town. But it does have a great ice cream store called Ice Cream Smith and we usually used the town for grocery and other necessities. Boston was a more important city for us. Boston is the place we went shopping, watched movies or generally chilled.
