Reflections and Advice:
1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
MMA's education included a military school discipline with a small community feeling. Faculty and staff knew each cadet personally and tried to improve the "whole person"; not just the scholastic abilities. I owe my success in life to my experiences at Massanutten.
2.)  What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
Self confidence. Independence. Maturity. A Leg Up on others who always lived with MOM.
3.)  What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Been more positive at the start.
4.)  What did you like most about your school?
The outstanding effect it had on my life.
5.)  Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Work hard; Play fair.
Academics:
1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I needed personal attention because of my limited ability to focus and what would probably be diagnosed as A.D.D. today. The class sizes allowed for personal interaction. The study hours at night with faculty available insured that I got my work done and my questions answered. I went from a low C student in public school to a High B student at MMA Their were also students from all over the country and world that helped me to broaden my perspective of people in general.
Athletics:
1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
Inclusion; Everyone played a sport that had the desire. I was cut in public school but excelled at MMA. What a huge increase in my confidence.
Music, and Theatre:
1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
Not my bag.
Extracurricular Opportunities:
1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
Lot's of outdoor activities.I loved it.
Dorm Life:
1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
Most of my lifetime friends are from my years at MMA; not from college.
Dining:
1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
Everyone at every school used to complain about the food. When I go back to visit now, I'm very impressed and think these cadets of today have it made.
Social and Town Life:
1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
Small town in the beautiful Shenandoah valley.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
Close knit.
