Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
There were a lot of hands on projects instead of straight memorization tests. It helped you learn concepts and not just memorize your notes. Critical thinking was a big part everything at school.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I become more outgoing and met a lot of people I still keep in touch with.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Get involved.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The small size, the teachers, the people I met there.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Find something you like and do it a lot.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The classes were really small and there was always a faculty member around to help if you needed help. There was a bunch of programs set up so you could go get help with papers and homework. The close faculty-student relationships were awesome.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
Sports were mandatory and counted as your gym classes. The teams had fun even though we didn't always win. Since sports were mandatory there were no cuts which could get old if you wanted to be on a really serious, dedicated team.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
The programs were not super deep but what was there was good. The choir did a number of performances each year and put together some really cool things. The faculty that taught in the departments were amazing. They were super there and connected and tried really hard to get you involved and to help you grow.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
There were a lot of chances to get involved. Meeting times were staggered for kids with a lot going on so that worked out well.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
The dorms were smaller and you got really close with the people you lived with. You could switch rooms but it kinda took a lot for them to let you do that. There weren't too many planned activities and the rules were pretty fair.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
There was one dinning hall and the food was actually pretty okay, better than my colleges. There were no assigned seats except at family style dinner which happened every so often during the year.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
The immediate town was small but it was easy to get to Philly and DC and Baltimore if you wanted to get out and do something. The planned trips to the mall and stores and things helped you get off campus.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
There were a lot of cool people and chances to do cool things. It was easy to find things to do.
