Reflections and Advice:

1.)  What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?

I went to boarding school solely for athletics, but I left boarding school as a less one-dimensional person. I continued my athletic career in college, but became a more rounded person due to my boarding school experience, and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

2.)  What would you have done differently during your boarding school experience?

I would have gone to boarding school at a later point in my high school career.

3.)  What would you never want to change about your school?

Nothing.

4.)  What things could be improved about your school?

Proctor is an amazing school, there isn't anything I could think of to change it.

5.)  Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?

Relish your time while you're there.

Academics:

1.) What did you like best about your school’s academics?

The teachers were amazing, and I wound up at one of the better colleges in the country solely to their desire to aid in their student's success. Classes were fair, and difficult at the same time.

2.) What did you like least about the academics in your school?

I enjoyed every academic aspect of my school.

Athletics:

1.) What did you like best about your school’s athletics?

I was recruited by my boarding school for a sport, and Proctor allowed me to continue playing my respective sport in college. The athletics were competitive, and were a welcome break from academic rigors.

2.) What did you like least about the athletics in your school?

The athletic program was my favorite aspect of Proctor.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) What did you like best about your school’s art program?

Dorm Life:

1.) What was the best thing about dorm life in your school?

I enjoyed living in a dorm, this was the aspect of boarding school that most prepapred me for college.

2.) What did you like least about dorm life?

N/A

Dining:

1.) What was the best thing about your dining arrangements?

The food at Proctor wasn't horrible, it was a lot better than my college's dining options.

2.) What did you like least about your dining arrangements?

Possibly the inability to eat during times other than those in which the dining hall was open.

Social and Town Life:

1.) How welcome did you feel by the other students when you first arrived at the school?

The kids at Proctor were great, and am still good friends with quite afew of my high school buddies to this day.

2.) Describe the level of diversity and integration of students in your school:

There was little diversity at Proctor, though all students most likely felt welcome due to the liberal setting of Proctor.

3.) Describe typical fun activities you did on a weekend:

I generally went off campus every weekend.

4.) What was the town like?

There was no town in Andover, NH, where the school I graduated from was located. Concord, NH was about a 1/2 hour away, and trips to restaurants, the movies, and mall were weekly, but I never partook in these excursions.
