Life Quest Girls Academy
Life Quest Girls Academy offers both academic opportunities and self-improvement opportunities in a boarding school atmosphere. Students have the personalized option to recover academic credits and/or accelerate their academic pace to make up lost time in public school or simply finish high school more quickly than most students can in a public-school setting.
Along with an individual academic pace, Life Quest offers students the opportunity to prepare for and take the ACT and SAT tests, take and complete AP classes, earn job skill certificates, secure off campus employment, participate in weekly life skills instruction and activities, all while moving through our signature self-improvement course.
Overall, Life Quest focuses on unique and personalized academic opportunities while creating a peaceful environment that is conducive to self-focus, self-growth, and preparing each student for a successful future.

School Notes
- Life Quest Girls Academy is a non-traditional boarding school for girls 12-18 years old. Depending on the unique academic needs of each student, they can focus on either credit recovery, and/or a fast-paced acceleration, both of which lead to a high school diploma. Our customized individual approach inside the classroom allows each student to receive unique accommodations that fit their unique learning style. Students with IEP's, 504 plans, and other academic accommodations are welcome as we partner with parents to find the best route to academic success.
- Our after-school focus is based on 3 fundamental aspects.
- 1. Self-Improvement
- 2. Life Skills
- 3. Entrepreneurship (Job Skill Certification).
- Our students graduate our school with a high school diploma, multiple job skill certificates, and usable life skills that make them extremely employable in the 21st century world in which we live. Students also have the option to learn how to start and run their own business, attend trade school courses such as CNA and Phlebotomy classes, join and participate in 4-H clubs and activities, and participate in off campus employment where they can save their own money and leave Life Quest ready to contribute financially to their next endeavor in life.
- Our signature self-improvement course offers one high school elective. This course guides students to work through principles, topics, and values that lead to successful lives. Some of the topics and values that will be studied and practiced during this course include goal setting, choice and accountability, hard work, integrity, service, gratitude, forgiveness and much more. This course also encourages students to identify any codependences in their current situations, or their past, and allows them to work through a 12-step program unique to their self-improvement and codependency needs.
- Life Quest Girls Academy is a non-therapeutic option for a variety of students coming from their normal home setting or transitioning from residential and/or wilderness programs. Although therapy is not part of our daily routine or focus, students who have therapists from home, or would like to continue therapy with a local therapist near Life Quest, are allowed to do so on an outpatient basis. These appointments must be made by each student's parents or guardians and are paid for directly from parents and guardians to whichever therapist they choose to contract with.
- Because therapy is not one of our school's focuses, this allows us to keep our tuition costs low, but still offer outpatient therapy options for parents. In contrast to therapy, we do offer alternative guidance in goal setting and future success with our in-house Life Coaches. Students who take advantage of a personal life coach will have the opportunity to meet with their Life Coach on a one-on-one basis each week to set goals, discuss current situations and relationships, and receive guidance within all aspects of Life Quest including academics, social situations, family relationships, and individualized progress.
- You can also take a campus tour in our video below.
