Proprietary directory and comparative dataset of boarding schools compiled via direct institutional reporting and internal Boarding School Review research. The historical dataset of boarding schools in New Hampshire is provided by Boarding School Review and contains statistics on metrics: Trends in Total Number of Boarding Schools,Trends in Total Number of Boarding School Students,Trends in Average Student-Teacher Ratio,Trends in Average Number of AP/Advanced Courses Offered,Regional Trends (Northeast) in Average Number of IB Courses Offered,Trends in Average Class Size,Trends in Average SAT Score,Trends in Average ACT Score,Trends in Average Acceptance Rate,Trends in Average Tuition Cost,Trends in Average Day Student Tuition,Regional Trends (Northeast) in Average International Student Tuition,Trends in Average Financial Aid Rate,Trends in Average Financial Aid Grant,Trends in Average School Endowment,Trends in Average % Students of Color,Trends in Average % Faculty with Advanced Degrees,Trends in Average % Boarding Students,Trends in Average % International Students. Average SAT scores are listed from the first year after the last value reported on the 2,400-point scale (in use until 2016 and kept as stored), currently 2018; earlier SAT values are held in the archive but excluded from the SAT series, its table and its downloads so that one series never mixes two scales. Each year counts the schools listed on Boarding School Review at that year's end, as the nearest source shows them. Listing status from database copies near the year end (2012–2014, 2019 and 2022–2025): the copies of 2013-01-12 for 2012, 2014-01-27 for 2013, 2015-01-21 for 2014, 2020-01-16 for 2019, 2022-12-28 for 2022, 2023-12-24 for 2023, 2025-01-01 for 2024 and 2026-01-05 for 2025. A school counts as it was listed on the copy date, which is not a status confirmed on December 31. The 2012 and 2013 values also come from those copies; school records edited in January before the copy hold their January values as proxies for December 31 (19 in 2012 and 28 in 2013). Estimated listing status (2015–2018, 2020 and 2021): no copy exists at the year end, so the listing comes from the nearest database copy (2018-10-01 for 2018, 2021-04-09 for 2020 and 2021-10-05 for 2021) or is carried between the copies of 2015-01-21 and 2018-10-01 (2015–2017). Archive coverage (2005–2011): the schools whose profile page was archived that year, with the values printed on that page; the number of schools counted is a lower bound of the schools listed, not a confirmed total.

A count above 43 or above the school's enrollment is flagged for review, and a value is corrected or left out only on evidence from the school's own sources, with the stored value kept. From the 2026 snapshot on, AP courses and advanced courses are stored separately and the figure is their sum.
<data><year>2025</year><state>20.08%</state><national>26.73%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2026-01-05</source_date></data><data><year>2024</year><state>20.25%</state><national>26.36%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2025-01-01</source_date></data><data><year>2023</year><state>20.92%</state><national>26.02%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2023-12-24</source_date></data><data><year>2022</year><state>20.62%</state><national>25.61%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2022-12-28</source_date></data><data><year>2021</year><state>22%</state><national>24.69%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2021-10-05</source_date></data><data><year>2020</year><state>22.75%</state><national>25.12%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2021-04-09</source_date></data><data><year>2019</year><state>21.62%</state><national>25.4%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2020-01-16</source_date></data><data><year>2018</year><state>21.71%</state><national>26.12%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2018-10-01</source_date></data><data><year>2017</year><state>21.36%</state><national>26.49%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2015-01-21/2018-10-01</source_date></data><data><year>2016</year><state>20.33%</state><national>26.03%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2015-01-21/2018-10-01</source_date></data><data><year>2015</year><state>19.47%</state><national>25.58%</national><population_basis>estimated_listing</population_basis><source_date>2015-01-21/2018-10-01</source_date></data><data><year>2014</year><state>19.6%</state><national>25.36%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2015-01-21</source_date></data><data><year>2013</year><state>20.27%</state><national>23.91%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2014-01-27</source_date></data><data><year>2012</year><state>21%</state><national>22.85%</national><population_basis>copy_near_year_end</population_basis><source_date>2013-01-12</source_date></data><data><year>2011</year><state>19.17%</state><national>20.89%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2011-09-02/2011-12-31</source_date></data><data><year>2010</year><state>18.15%</state><national>20.35%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2010-10-16/2010-12-31</source_date></data><data><year>2009</year><state>15.46%</state><national>18.18%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2009-04-10/2009-12-31</source_date></data><data><year>2008</year><state>15.69%</state><national>17.52%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2008-11-09/2008-12-30</source_date></data><data><year>2007</year><state>14.08%</state><national>16.88%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2007-11-23/2007-12-31</source_date></data><data><year>2006</year><state>13.36%</state><national>15.9%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2006-07-15/2006-12-31</source_date></data><data><year>2005</year><state>13.9%</state><national>14.9%</national><population_basis>archive_coverage</population_basis><source_date>2005-11-24/2005-12-31</source_date></data></subdataset></dataset>
