Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
I felt like the campus was one bonus as it was very open and offered more than just a dorm and school. Another part was the creative teachings, it felt way different than public schools
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
It definitely grew me as a person and was an experience I needed. The best thing was the way they taught me to think for myself.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Just be yourself . That’s it.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
Being away from home and getting an opportunity I would have never seen if I hadn’t attended

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I liked how the teaching was different , it offered free thinking unlike the public schools I had went to. It was more hands on also which made it easier. The only problem I had with the students and teachers were the lack of diversity and awareness on issues for people of color.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I didn’t take part much as far as athletics, I did enjoy watching some lacrosse and soccer games but I’m not much of a sports fan on a highschool level.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
The best part! The amount of resources and extra classes you could take. I loved how the teachers didn’t try to put us in a box while still teaching us the fundamentals/elements needed. It offered a different view of the arts than I had before. I loved the way they pushed us

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
The school didn’t offer much diversity in any realm but I wish they had. There wasn’t much for the POC community or the queer community.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
It was nice, very basic. It was just what you needed, not lavish or luxury.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
I wish the food tasted better but they did offer a good array of options based on students needs. Whether you were vegan or into meat, it gave us all something to eat. The meals were well balanced and more healthier than what I had in public schools.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
I didn’t go off campus much as I didn’t know the area well .
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
I loved the comradeship, everyone tried to make room for everyone. Of course some were closer than others but it wasn’t cliquey, it didn’t feel rude or arrogant.
