Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
Riverside Military Academy was one of the best experiences of my life. It taught me the values of hard work and camaraderie. Along with giving me the opportunity to travel across three nation and even to Europe. Wonderful experience that I wouldn't trade for anything
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I feel like being a cadet gave me a sense of respect and honor. By putting cadets in leadership positions, the cadets learn core values of being a leader. I wouldn't be the person I am today without riverside
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would not fight the system. The rules may not seem fair, but every rule was for a reason.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The friends that I made from all over the world were truly the best I ever had. To this day I keep up with them and I even love with 2 of them in my apartment.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
My advice is to just go with the flow. The system is gonna try to fight you but if you let it and learn from it you'll be fine.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The ability to engage my teachers in class about certain topics was great. The teachers were very helpful.

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The athletics program was extremely diverse. Nearly every sport was available.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
I enjoyed the extracurricular activities as a way to be around and make friends.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
The brotherhood that you learn from living in the barracks was the best part of being at riverside. Making lifelong friends with people from around the world was amazing.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
The mess hall was very interesting. The quality of meals shifted every now and then but overall it was alright.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
The best part about being in Gainesville Georgia was going to lake Lanier and being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
I'll never forget going to my best friends room with our closest friends and putting all our money in together to order Chinese food. Those nights were great. I still talk to all those guys even 2 years after graduating
