Notes for Prospective Students
Gow students are diagnosed with one or more language-based learning
difference, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia. Many
students have secondary diagnoses including ADHD, auditory
processing disorder (APD), language processing disorder, and/or
generalized anxiety disorder. Gow students have average to
above-average cognitive and intellectual abilities, and they thrive
in small class sizes without continuous one-to-one (1:1) teaching.
While many Gow students receive mental health counseling and/or
speech therapy on campus, Gow is not suited to support students who
require clinical, therapeutic, or behavioral support.
