The International School of Schaffhausen welcomes students who are in good academic standing and who are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment. Applicants seeking entry into Grade 9 are expected to demonstrate an English proficiency level of at least B1. For those applying to the IB Diploma Programme in Grade 11, a higher level of fluency—equivalent to C1—is required to meet the demands of the curriculum. Our admissions process is designed to be both comprehensive and personal. Applicants are asked to complete a detailed application form, sit an academic placement test, and participate in interviews, either on campus or online.
