Reflections and Advice:
1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
This school is unique because of the tight-knit community. I had the best 4 years at this school and if I could go back in time, I would make the same choice again. I learned many important values and flourished in the community. I became a leader and learned many important life lessons. The campus is beautiful in all seasons. The teachers helped me so much with more than just class; they helped me succeed in academics and in my day-to-day life.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
The best thing that has happened to me was that I was able to come out of my shell and I was able to become the leader I have always wanted to be.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would have participated in more activities in my freshman year in order for me to be able to have even more experiences.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
My favourite part about this school is the connections with the teachers that you get. They are there to support you and they are a family away from home.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Enjoy every moment of school and make the most out of it. Try at least one new thing every year!
Academics:
1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The academics at this school are amazing. It is personalized to each student. The small class sizes make it so that every student can get one-on-one teaching. There are also plenty of times when you can go see a teacher for extra help. The teachers are always there to help and want to see you succeed
Athletics:
1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
There is an amazing equestrian program that has so many opportunities for everyone at every level. The equestrian coach helped me with more than I could ever imagine. She brought back my love for the sport and helped me enjoy every little moment.
Art, Music, and Theatre:
1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
The theatre productions are amazing - high quality and professional. My favorite part is the theatre teacher. He makes sure that everyone feels comfortable and finds ways to incorporate each person's strengths in the production, to give everyone a moment to shine.
Extracurricular Opportunities:
1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
My favorite part about extracurriculars is that they are mostly student-led. Students can start new activities if they want to. Everything is based off of student interest. The opportunities to start something new are endless.
Dorm Life:
1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
My favorite part about the dorm life is the life skills you learn -- little things like learning how to live with people you don't necessarily love, but also getting the opportunity to live with some of your best and lifelong friends. It is an opportunity like no other and I am so happy that I chose to board in the dorms for all 4 of my high school years.
Dining:
1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
There is always a warm meal served with an option to a salad bar or sandwich bar.
Social and Town Life:
1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
It is very peaceful by the water and there are beautiful views.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?

This school is unique because of the tight nit community there is. I had the best 4 years at this school and if I could go back in time I would make the same choice. . .
The sizes of classes are quite small, which I think is unique because it allows for more concentrated lessons and more one one-on-one teaching. The smallest class I've been to only had three other students. . .
