School Notes:
- Trinity-Pawling is located just 60 miles from New York City. The School's close proximity to the city makes it possible for the School to offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities. In addition, major New York Airports are only 1 1/2 hours from campus.
- Trinity- Pawling respects and recognizes the differences in individuals and the different processes required to achieve their educational potential. The School's unique effort system is used to implement these strategies and reward a boy based on his efforts in various aspects of school life including academic, athletic, extracurricular, and dormitory. We acknowledge that boys have different strengths and weaknesses and reward students for hard work. Each boy will be motivated to reach his own potential in all areas of school life.
- In addition to the 100 courses offered the School also offers a Language Program for bright student's who have mild language based learning disabilities. This is a limited program and has special requirements. You should contact the admission office for specific details.
- Trinity-Pawling offers a competitive athletic program in soccer, football, cross country, hockey, basketball, wrestling, squash, skiing, weight lifting, baseball, lacrosse, and track & field. The athletic facilities include the Carleton Gymnasium, McGraw Wrestling Pavilion,Rock Squash Courts, Tirrell Hockey Rink, weight room, cardio room, 11 tennis courts, two football fields, a lighted all weather turf field, two baseball fields, a state-of-the-art Track,and six other playing fields. The School is part of the Founders League.
- Student's benefit for an extensive physical plant that spreads over 140 acres. The Dann building, which holds all of the classrooms, was renovated and expanded in 2003 to include all of the latest technology. The Gardiner Theater and new Art Center were completed in 2005. The theater has 401 seats, a state of the art sound booth, a set building shop, make-up and costume rooms. The Art Center also houses art studios, a dark room, and many music studios. Scully Hall, a new dining facility, was completed in 2009. Other campus buildings include 8 dormitories and a Chapel.
