Overview
Situated in the Swiss Alps above Lake Geneva, Leysin American School has been developing innovative, compassionate, and responsible citizens of the world since 1961.
Our ski-in, ski-out campus sits in the heart of Europe, giving students access to world-class outdoor adventure and a vibrant international community year-round.
LAS offers an individualized academic program and flexible pathways, including the IB, AP, and our Changemakers program, all designed to help students develop the critical-thinking skills and creativity they will need to navigate their futures with confidence.
Through partnerships with SCAD and Babson College, students engage with real-world creative and entrepreneurial challenges using the Harvard-developed case study method, putting theory into practice from the earliest stages of their education.
Our university advisors begin working with students in Grade 9, focused on finding the right fit for each student.
The results speak for themselves: 69% of our graduates are accepted to Times Higher Education Top 100 universities worldwide, including Harvard and Cambridge.
Founded by M. Crist Fleming in 1956, TASIS is an international day and boarding school committed to creating global citizens through education, travel, and service.
The oldest American boarding school in Europe, TASIS welcomes approximately 750 students from 60 nations in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Postgraduate each year.
The School's signature programs include the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, biannual Academic Travel trips throughout Europe, and a pioneering Global Service Program.
