Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
This school is unique because of the tight nit community there is. I had the best 4 years at this school and if I could go back in time I would make the same choice again. I learned many important values and florished in a community, became a leader and learned many important life lessons. the campus is beautiful during all seasons. the teachers helped me so much with more than just class. they helped me succeed in academics and in my day to day life.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
The best thing that has happened to me was that I was able to come out of my shell and I was able to become the leader I have always wanted to become.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would have participated in more activities freshman year in order for me to be able to have even more experiences.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
My favourite part about this school is the connections with the teachers that you get. they really are there to support you and they are a family away from home.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Enjoy every moment of school and make the most out of it. Everything is boring if you don't make something out of your experience so try at least one new thing every year!

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The academics at this school are amazing. it is personalised to each person and the small class sizes make it so every student can get one on one teaching with the teacher. there are also plenty of times where you can go see a teacher in case you need some extra help. the teachers are always there to help and want to see you succeed with much more than simply their class.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
There is an amazing equestrian program that has so many oppertunities for everyone at every level. Coach mas, the equestrian coach helped me with more than I could ever imagine. She brought my love back for the sport and helped me enjoy every little moment.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
The theatre productions are amazing. I have been in most of them but everyone I talk to after the productions always say how it doesn't look like it is high school, it looks much better. My favourite part is the theatre teacher he always finds ways to incorporate everyone's strengths in the productions and give everyone a moment to shine. he always makes sure that everyone feels comfortable with everything aswell.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
My favourite part about extra-curriculars is that they are mostly student led and students can start new activities if they want to. Everything is based off of student interest and the opertunities to start something new are endless.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
My favourite part about the dorm life is the life skills you learn. little things like learning how to live with people you don't necessarily love but also getting the oppertunity to live with some of your best and lifelong friends. It is an oppertunity like no other and I am so happy that I chose to board in the dorms for all 4 of my highschool years.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
There is always a warm meal served with an option to a salad bar or sandwich bar.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
It is very peaceful by the water and there are beautiful views.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
You find your best and life long friends. I found my bestfriend for life and I am so grateful. you meet people from across the country and that is an amazing oppertunity that I am so grateful for.

The sizes of classes are quite small, which I think is unique because it allows for more concentrated lessons and more one one-on-one teaching. The smallest class I've been to only had three other students. . .

There is an amazing family atmosphere at Knox that is unlike any other school I attended. I highly recommend the school for any parent looking for a boarding school because your child will be cared. . .
