The Phelps School is a boarding and day school serving boys in grades seven through postgraduate. We are dedicated to a personalized education for the boy who seeks success academically, personally and socially. This philosophy of dedication to the total development of each boy is accentuated by our structured atmosphere, small classes and daily tutorials. Our first obligation is creating a caring, sensitive climate which emphasizes the positive in every situation. The environment is consistent, supportive and combined with challenge, care and honesty. Phelps is concerned with emphasizing the articulation and inculcation of personal moral values as an important part of our mission -- educating the heart as well as the mind and body.
