Founded in 1869, O.E.S. built on its strong reputation to become the premier school it is today. Student learning is guided by a highly qualified, experienced faculty on a wooded 59-acre campus with indoor tennis courts, a premier running track and a fencing studio that produced an Olympic gold medalist in 2004. Our small classes are ideal for fostering in-depth discussions and hands-on activities. O.E.S. boasts a nationally and internationally recognized research-based science program. Each boarding student has access to the school's high speed internet in his/her dormitory room.
An OES education includes excellent academics, the arts, athletics, community service and lifelong friendships with fellow students and teachers. Our graduates are welcomed at colleges and universities across the United States.
