Surrounded by English gothic-style architecture, broad lawns and towering trees, cadets living within the 150-acre campus at St. John''s Northwestern are immersed in an environment in which they are safe to build self-esteem, self-discipline, academic focus, and intellectual curiosity. 100% of our graduates gain acceptance to college with lifelong success reinforced through the four cornerstones of cadet lifestyle: Academics, Athletics, Leadership, and Values. For the past 120 years, the Academy has served as a training ground for young men in grades 7-12 to "work hard, play hard, pray hard." An Academic Excellence Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 or $2,000 for the academic year is awarded to an entering cadet who achieves a qualifying score on our cadet entrance exam (must be in English for our international students). This scholarship may be continued throughout a cadet's tenure at the Academy if specific criteria are met.
