School Notes

  • In addition to Excelsior`s small class room sizes, there are a number of factors that contribute to an environment of academic excellence. We employ an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Reading and writing skills, for example, are taught not only in English classes, but also in science and history as well. Likewise, math concepts are covered in science, economics and other courses where applicable. In addition, SAT / ACT preparation is covered within the framework of regular high school English, math, and science classes.
  • Monitored homework assistance and test preparation available four days per week.
  • A beautiful secure campus with indoor and outdoor dining facilities.
  • A culturally diverse student body with students from many countries throughout the world.
  • Merit scholarships are available.
  • Affordable tuition rates.
  • Our campus is centrally located in Pasadena, CA only 16 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
  • Excelsior School accreditations: Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
