Is the classroom the only place in which to learn? We don't think so. WMS Students immerse themselves in a week-long, off-campus Field Course each semester. These unique experiences allow in-depth, academic exploration of a specific topic in an authentic setting. Each Course provides an incomparable opportunity for students to explore and develop interests and passions beyond the classroom.
NMH's campus encompasses 1,565 scenic acres on the wooded banks of the Connecticut River and is near the borders of Vermont and New Hampshire. The culturally rich five-college region of Northampton and Amherst is a 40-minute drive south. New York City is only 3.5 hours south and Boston is 2 hours east of campus.

At Indian Springs students and faculty work together in a model of 'shared governance'. A school constitution explains their responsibilities in the day-to-day operation of the school. Our school is our town. The student government is the shared voice in determining how the school operates and evolves.
World class rock climbing and hundreds of hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails near our campus keep our afternoon activities program varied and exciting.
