Represented in the student body are 18 states and 19 countries.  Our 220 acre campus borders the village green of Washington, a small, historic town in the Litchfield Hills.

Florida Prep  accepts boarding & day students in grades 6-12.The school teaches an innovative 21st Century Skills and Values program and offers students, 15 and over, the opportunity to train for a Private Pilots License through its Flight School.

Swim Team is just one of the many teams our students can join as part of our extensive extracurricular program. SMS's athletic program emphasizes participation as we believe that the sense of belonging to a team and the benefits of embedding life-long wellness skills are something all girls should experience, not just a handful of 'star' athletes.

So much of a student's success in school can be related to their peers. Our students come from all walks of life with the common goal of reaching their highest potential personally and academically. As a community, they encourage each other to greater success.
Teamwork, dedication, and sacrifice are key components of our athletic programs. Participation in athletics promotes good health but also teaches invaluable life lessons. Through athletics, students learn to develop confidence, self-discipline and leadership skills while learning the value of collaboration. Athletics allow students the opportunity to work together in accomplishing defined goals.
The San Domenico Dance department offers an in depth training program in ballet, modern dance,
jazz and choreography with professional master teachers and choreographers. The four-year program
offers opportunities to explore dance from the beginning to the advanced level. Courses may include
homework such as, journaling, book reports, field trips, performance critiques, resumes, biographies,
grant proposals and choreography.
Two new dorms, Kolbe and Riordan Hall, opened in August 2014.

NMH is a coed boarding school serving 650 students in grades 9-12. We also offer a postgraduate year. Our wooded campus borders the Connecticut River in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts, and in this beautiful setting, we challenge young people to think hard, work hard, discover new talents, and hone the ones they already possess.
The Village School intimately understands the importance of math and science, offering differentiated programs integrated with the arts and spearheaded by a passionate and innovative group of educators who lead, inspire and excite.
