Improv Club At Boarding Schools
- There are 11 boarding schools offering improv club as an extracurricular activity.
The typical class size at Milton is 14 students. Classes meet around the Harkness table, where students and faculty share dialogue, inquiry and reflection.
Living on campus is much more than just going to class and studying. Boarding life is a constant adventure with most students finding a comfortable balance between academic performance and extracurricular activities.
All of our amazing weekend activities are included in tuition. So it's easy to sign up with your friends to see Blue Man Group or the Red Sox or any one of a million fun adventures in the greater Boston area!
Solar panels help power school as part of our Sustainable Living component. In addition, students participate in a full Seed to Plate program, with a 4100 square foot greenhouse for growing organic vegetables, an edible schoolyard with apple and pear trees and strawberries, and a full professional kitchen that can accommodate 30 students at a time in Culinary Arts Class.
Weekend activities are planned by both students and the Residential Faculty. These activities expose the students to various opportunities in and around the Bay Area. Past activities have included ski trips, rockclimbing, sea kayaking, surfing, museums, concerts, camping, shopping, movies, bowling, beach trips, and pro or college sports games.
