The Stony Brook School Photo #4 - At The Stony Brook School we treasure the education of young artists. Students are encouraged to explore their interest in theater through acting, directing, set design, light and sound crew, stage crew and playwriting.
The Stony Brook School Photo #5 - We are bonded together by a strong sense of community and push each other to be the best that we could be. We compete in and out of the classroom with respect and grace and enjoy each other's company. We love to have fun and work hard!
The Stony Brook School Photo #6 - The Stony Brook School is a global campus with rich cultural and ethnic diversity. Students come to us from 20 different countries and 13 U.S. states and enjoy sharing their life experiences, food, music, traditions and much more. We celebrate our differences and find bonding moments through our similarities. Out of many we become one. We are Brookers!
The Stony Brook School Photo #7 - We are the school not too far from the BIG city and close enough to the sea. You are connected to the vibrancy of NYC (50 miles away) and the peace and tranquility of being with nature on campus. It is in these spaces that we create incredible memories together.
The Stony Brook School Photo #8 - Do you spot the faculty member in this picture? Students have a deep connection with staff and faculty who have dedicated their lives to the personal development of each student. The love, support, guidance and shared perspectives from some other adult person (SOAP), give parents a sense of peace and satisfaction that their child is cared for.
The Stony Brook School Photo #9 - Both on the court, in the classroom and out in the community we strive for excellence and support each other. We are stronger together!
The Stony Brook School Photo #10 - Typically 100% of the senior class goes on to higher education, most matriculating at four-year colleges and universities. 31% of our students were accepted to a top 30 college or university, as reported by US News and World Report. 44% of our students were accepted to at least one school whose acceptance rate is below 15%.
