All students complete an independent project through our LASR program. LASR stands for Leadership, Arts, Service, and Research. These general categories demonstrate the range of projects that students choose to undertake. This program is our way of saying that passion matters, and that we know each and every student has a spark that we want to help focus.

Chaminade's student to teacher ratio is 10:1, with an average class size of 17 students.
Every classroom at Exeter has a Harkness table, which seats a teacher and 12 students, placing students at the center of the learning process.
The Performing Arts Center in Newton Hall houses the performing arts program, which includes the Contemporary Band, Kents Hill Singers, and the Kents Hill Chamber music group.
Everyone at LFA (students, faculty, and staff) belongs to one of four houses - Bird, Lewis, Sargent, or Welch.   The four Houses compete in a series of mini competitions throughout the year and the House that earns the most points WINS!
Our one-to-one tablet computer program gives each girl instant access to a wealth of information.
The Athletic Department at Miss Hall's instills in student-athletes the values of fitness, teamwork, and competition while inspiring each girl to master physical skills, envision her potential, strive to attain goals, build confidence, and experience the power of community pride.
The San Domenico Dance department offers an in depth training program in ballet, modern dance,
jazz and choreography with professional master teachers and choreographers. The four-year program
offers opportunities to explore dance from the beginning to the advanced level. Courses may include
homework such as, journaling, book reports, field trips, performance critiques, resumes, biographies,
grant proposals and choreography.
Millbrook's 800-acre campus is expansive yet intimate, traditional yet contemporary. The tranquil setting inspires life-changing ideas, while the energy and resources of nearby New York City are a natural extension of our classrooms. We are in the midst of the bountiful Hudson Valley, yet the commuter rail to NYC is just 5 miles from campus.
With 165 students, relationships are at the core of the CRMS experience. This close-knit community resides on a 320-acre historic ranch, at the confluence of two rivers and base of Mount Sopris, providing not only an outdoor learning laboratory but a launch point for boundless outdoor adventure.
Vermont Academy students are curious and adventurous. They are innovators and tinkerers. They feel free to take risks and try new things.
The Village School intimately understands the importance of math and science, offering differentiated programs integrated with the arts and spearheaded by a passionate and innovative group of educators who lead, inspire and excite.
Art with Friends
Community service is taught, not required, at Randolph-Macon Academy.  While there is no requirement for graduation, students are given many opportunities to serve their community, both on-campus and in the town of Front Royal. In this photo, students are helping to match wish-lists with toys in the local Toys for Tots program.
Midland's 10-acre certified organic garden. It currently provides 80% of the produce that our community consumes in the dining hall.
