The Storm King School embraces truth, respect, and responsibility.
SEM students can express their creative side in the skylit art room, or the digital art and photography classroom. Musical expression finds space in either ensemble, glee club or SEMACHORDS, our acapella group. We also have a fall and spring play in our black box theater and host the ESU Shakespeare competition.

More than a century has passed since Mr. Taft founded our school. All dorm rooms have a private bathroom and many have waterfront views.
Outdoor Education: Afternoon surfing, day hikes, weekend camping trips, and an 11-day wilderness trek introduce students to the wilderness environment while emphasizing the development of a positive attitude toward challenging situations.
The typical class size at Milton is 14 students. Classes meet around the Harkness table, where students and faculty share dialogue, inquiry and reflection.
