School Notes
- St. Mary`s School was founded in Southern Oregon in 1865 in a community that celebrates nature and academia. This combination creates an environment for students to excel, explore, and thrive. More than 150 years after its founding, the school is home to 500 domestic day and international boarding students in grades 5 through 12 who achieve academic excellence in state-of-the-art facilities. In the last 10 years, the campus has doubled in size adding a brand new STEM Center, Fine Arts & Athletics Center, and dormitory. St. Mary`s invests in each and every student with the average class size of 15 students and a student to teacher ratio of 10:1. St. Mary`s uses the module system which provides students a hands-on approach to their own education, as they are able to choose from 200+ courses. This type of curriculum model keeps students` academic careers fresh and engaging based upon their own unique passions and academic needs. Students graduate with a 100% college acceptance rate and are fully prepared to engage in the modern world. St. Mary`s goes beyond exceptional academics. The school is home to outstanding sports programs which build camaraderie and award winning clubs like our champion Robotics Team, Mathematics Club, and Model UN. Students explore new territory with activities like Outdoors Club, Astronomy Club, and Filmmaking. A wide array of events throughout the year build school spirit, create community and make St. Mary`s more than just a school.
