The IB Diploma can strengthen university applications and may lead to early offers, scholarship opportunities or first-year university credits, depending on the institution and the student's results. Students can also choose an Enriched BC Dogwood (BC High School Diploma) pathway or pursue the BC Dogwood Diploma on its own, giving them the flexibility to match their studies to their goals and interests.
That flexibility extends beyond the classroom. Through Academics+, students in Grades 610 dedicate three afternoons each week to a Scholar-Athlete Academy in hockey, snowsports, motorsports or soccer, or to enrichment opportunities in areas such as outdoor education, technology, entrepreneurship, arts and athletics.
Academics are fully supported, and students do not miss classes to participate.
