Emma Girls share a laugh in one of our historic dormitories.
Foxcroft School House
Millbrook's 800-acre campus is expansive yet intimate, traditional yet contemporary. The tranquil setting inspires life-changing ideas, while the energy and resources of nearby New York City are a natural extension of our classrooms. We are in the midst of the bountiful Hudson Valley, yet the commuter rail to NYC is just 5 miles from campus.
Also unique to the VFMA educational experience, our academically qualified high school juniors and seniors are granted the opportunity to enroll in college level classes, taken at Valley Forge Military College, on campus.
Girls triple dormitory. Optional twin or single room is also available for students at an extra cost.
Friars' Hall
The Hill School sets a high standard for students in their dress and appearance to express pride in themselves and their respect for one another. Academic Dress is worn throughout the academic day whenever students are in an academic or public area, chapel services, sit-down meals, required evening performance, or any other designated occasion.
The athletic program emphasizes teamwork, fitness, and the development of specific skills. All students participate in each of the three seasons. Interscholastic teams compete in soccer, cross-country, basketball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, and Ultimate Frisbee.
Our lake offers students a chance to relax, fish, canoe - in the center of campus.
Art with Friends
Every boarding student in the past three years have been accepted to attend a college or university.
Since 1879, Fishburne Military School has been helping young men in grades 7-12 to reach their highest potential.
Become individualistic.
SEM students can express their creative side in the skylit art room, or the digital art and photography classroom. Musical expression finds space in either ensemble, glee club or SEMACHORDS, our acapella group. We also have a fall and spring play in our black box theater and host the ESU Shakespeare competition.
The Arts
Ariel view of Carson Long's campus.
Classrooms, offices, auditorium, gymnasium, and cafeteria are all located in the primary school building.
