Reflections and Advice:
1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?

The overall experience of being in a small school was excellent. I enjoyed a number of sports while I was there. Had a wonderful Coach that saw me through so much. The mentoring program was great due to the fact that they knew you and knew what you could do. To me R-MA was an excellent choice for me.

2.)  What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?

IT made me grow up. My achievements were mainly sports related. But I also made everlasting friendships

3.)  What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?

Just keep in mind that time flies and once you are out that's it. I wish I had taken more time to do the things I really wanted to do. Also to study a little more and push myself in ways that I now know that I can do.

4.)  What did you like most about your school?

The teachers, the military program and sports. The campus is wonderful and is maintain like no other. I would love to go back and redo if that was possible.

5.)  Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?

Just take each day and enjoy. You can never relive your high school years. It's a great place to be.

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?

The small class sizes. All the students knew one another. The teacher took the time to help you if you were week in an area. They also had daily a tutorial that you could attend and get extra help in any class you had.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?

I am very sports minded. Love it. I always made the team and mostly could lead the team in every way. At R-MA you have to participate in a sport to earn your P.E. credits. I never had any problems in this area. Always was more willing to do a sport.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?

I was in choir from 6th grade until graduation. Had the same teacher and he also became my friend. In my Senior year the Choir and the Drama department pulled together and did a play. What a time I had. Didn't know I had it in me to do something like that. R-MA gives you that chance to do those types of things.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?

There is a Community service director who is always trying to get students involved doing things. I personally did things for my local Church group with Missions. I love helping people so this was my way of giving

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?

I did not dorm. I was a Non-boarding student. The only Time I did board was a full week in my Junior and a full week in my Senior year. I was selected to be a Cadre member

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.

Variety. And always listening to the students of there wants. Not to many school do that.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.

Since I am local I love my town. It's small and easy to get around.

2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?

Lots of chances to attend sporting events, dances and just time to be together as friends.

Daily Schedule:

Weekday

1:00 AMSometimes we had parades or sport events and I would be at the school

Weekend

1:00 AMSome time I would be at a school play, church or sporting event
