Reflections and Advice:
1.)  What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I was Cum Laude, and it felt great to have worked hard to get good grades and then be rewarded for it.
2.)  What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
Nothing!
3.)  What would you never want to change about your school?
The teachers.
4.)  What things could be improved about your school?
The students accepted at DA could be more diverse.
5.)  Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
Spend some time by the river, or out in the cow fields!
Academics:
1.) What did you like best about your school’s academics?
Classes were challanging, and the teachers were amazing. Extra help was always available.
2.) What did you like least about the academics in your school?
Nothing!
Athletics:
1.) What did you like best about your school’s athletics?
Sports were taken seriously but were also fun. Coaches really cared about the teams I played on.
2.) What did you like least about the athletics in your school?
Women's sports never received as much attention as men's sports.
Art, Music, and Theatre:
1.) What did you like best about your school’s art program?
The classes were open to people like me, who didn't have much experience in the area. Our facilities were amazing, with plenty of supplies and an environment condusive to creativity.
2.) What did you like least about your school’s art program?
It was really hard to fit in classes or extra time in this area because sports took up too much time.
Extracurricular Opportunities:
1.) What did you like most about the extracurricular activities offered at your school?
There was a wide variety of clubs to join. Meeting hours were flexible, and with such a busy schedule, this was helpful.
2.) What did you like least about the extracurricular activities offered at your school?
Resources were limited, and faculty leadership wasn't always strong.
Dorm Life:
1.) What was the best thing about dorm life in your school?
I was a day student.
2.) What did you like least about dorm life?
---
Dining:
1.) What was the best thing about your dining arrangements?
The dining hall's food is amazing. The cooks etc. are nice and friendly. Sit down meals, although they take up time, are great for meeting people and taking a break during the day.
2.) What did you like least about your dining arrangements?
nothing
Social and Town Life:
1.) How welcome did you feel by the other students when you first arrived at the school
I felf very welcome because I joined a sports team right away. it was a great way to meet people. Classes were also a great way to find friends.
2.) Describe the level of diversity and integration of students in your school:
There isn't that much diversity, but I always felt comfortable hanging out with minority students.
3.) Describe typical fun activities you did on a weekend:
Homework! Swimming in the river, sledding etc.
4.) What was the town like?
Being a day student, i didn't have to worry about this too much. i know that boarders did go into Greenfield often, and Northampton and Amherst are great places to go, although a little bit further away.
